Cash is King

We are always taught to maximise profits, yet I have seen entrepreneurs often maximise profits with very little cash at hand.

A customer might be buying your products at a price that gives a fantastic return, but the deal is not worth it if the client is going to pay you in two years' time. Unless you are gifted with excess cash reserves, it would sometimes make more sense to sell your products at a lower profit margin and get paid on delivery. Cash is king, NOT PROFIT!
